The Journey NoteCopenhagen The MUNTHE spring/summer 2024 runway show was held in the historic courtyard of Kugelgaarden in the centre of Copenhagen. This time the weather was cooler than usual, with rain falling on and off.
MUNTHE may still be unfamiliar in Japan, but it is now a popular international brand. However, it is probably only very recently that it has become a global sink.
Founded by Nadja Munthe in the 1990s, it actually boasts a long track record. The digital gallery Art Monday, which celebrates female artists this time, was strongly felt in the Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Prints by contemporary artists Aline Gaïad and Heather Chontos are also featured on trousers, dresses and T-shirts in intarsia knit. The elegant and sexy designs with lace also give more of MUNTHE’s unique appeal.
The fun of Fashion Week is not only seeing the new collections, but also the street snaps of the officials and influencers who gather there.
Once again, we saw many trendy snaps, including from the MUNTHE brand.

分断された島で、止まった時間に出会う旅。
旅を始める前は、そんな事ひとつも知る余地もなかった。
キプロスの夏は、地中海らしい明るさに満ちている。
でも、この日足を踏み入れた町には、ちょっと異なる空気が漂っていた。
建物はある。でも、誰も住んでいない。まさにゴーストタウン。
ガラス張りのショーウィンドウは割れたまま。
時が止まったかのようなこのエリアは、「ヴァロシャ（Varosha）」と呼ばれるゴーストタウン。
美しいビーチや、陽気な街歩きも旅の楽しみのひとつ。
でも、こうして過去の傷跡と向き合う時間も、旅を「記憶」にしてくれる大切な要素だと思う。
もしキプロスに行く機会があるなら、ヴァロシャまで足を延ばしてみてほしい。
実際、この悲しくも美しいビーチと街をぜひ体感してほしい。
歴史や背景をほんの少し知ったうえで歩くと、その景色の見え方はまったく違ってくるはずだから。
